How can I make sure I get that comic every month?

A Pull List is a list of comic books that are set aside each week for you at your local comic book store. Each store has their own policy regarding pull lists and different methods for their customers.

Essentially it is as simple as writing a list of the comics you’ve seen that are coming out each month that you would like to pick up. It is a selection of titles you pre-order to ensure you get your copy. We have customers who have read through the previews and have seen a comic that is coming out in 2 months time and have asked us to order them a copy. This is our favourite type of pull list. We can guarantee that we will have enough copies of an issue as we order them 2 months in advance. While you can still pick up a copy in store the week it arrives on the shelf, you are risking the chance it will be sold out by the time you make it to the store. A Pull List is like having a subscription/membership to a comic book (or a couple of comic books).

How do you start a pull list? With us it is as simple as sending us a message online, visiting in store if you live nearby, or calling us. As an online Comic Book Store (one of the few in Australia) we have pull lists for customers all over the country. This works fantastically for people who are busy, live in remote locations, or don’t have a local comic book store. Starting a Pull List with Incognito Comics is as simple as sending us a message via our Facebook page or emailing us at contact@incognitocomics.com.au. We ask if you would like your issues sent weekly or monthly, full name, address and contact details and which issues you are interested in picking up. We’ll send you the invoice for the issues the week they come in and send them out Wednesday the day they arrive in store. If you live nearby we’ll put your issues aside and they’ll be ready when you come in. Each customer has their own file that their issues are collected in. If you see a graphic novel, deluxe edition hard cover that you would also like, let us know and it will be added to your pull list. It’s super easy. The best part is we love being able to communicate with our customers and when they tell us if they are liking or hating a new series. Discounts are available for customers with pull lists, and there are tiers of discounts (the more issues you buy the greater the discount). We have also created discounted shipping for our pull list customers, because no one wants to spend more money on shipping, and some of our larger pull lists receive free shipping!
