April is Stress Awareness Month. What does that mean? Honestly not a lot, but I did find a statistic that suggests reading can reduce stress by up to 68%. If you've ever tried reading while stressed, you know that it can be hard to focus, but apparently if you can commit, set an achievable goal (anything from 1 page to 1 whole comic) and set the time aside, it will actually reduce stress!

Just another reason for me to sit and read comics - so long as I'm not using them to procrastinate other jobs!

We haven't had a lot of time this week for reading as we were playing catch up on the week before. With the change in weather we at Incognito Comics all managed to get sick! Fortunately after a week we are all better and were able to get back in the warehouse to pick & pack orders. With a bit of hard work we're all caught up and making sure to get out our beanies & gloves to stay warm in the warehouse.

With everything that happens in our lives it can be hard to take time for ourselves. • Listen to music
  • Sing along to your favourite songs - I do this in the car, maybe a little too enthusiastically!
• Play with a pet
• Take 3-5 minutes and concentrate on slowly breathing in and out
• Sit in the sun (when if comes out)
• Create something - try making your own comic, draw or colour your favourite character!
• Watch a funny movie - I think Thor & Iron Man are pretty funny.
• Give a big hug to a loved one
